So you think I should comply with their request for the claim to move forward, even though it’s a bit senseless? Because the Incident Is not theft-related, It wouldn't surprise me If the police refuse to comply. If the police refuse to provide the report, due to Amazon's pea-brain reps, they'll still request It. In such a case, you'll need to get a document from the officer stating the reason why the PR cannot be given. Forward It to Amazon thereafter. RE: Apple Watch DNA or EB - fabrizio89 - 04-04-2022 Hey guys, long due update. I’ve actually manage to get a police report on my local language but now Amazon are saying they need a report in English or Spanish (Amazon.es) I highly doubt the police have the means to give me a translated version. What do you think the best course of action would be? Any of you been in a similar situation? Thanks in advance RE: Apple Watch DNA or EB - mothered - 04-05-2022 (04-04-2022, 06:59 PM)fabrizio89 Wrote: I’ve actually manage to get a police report on my local language but now Amazon are saying they need a report in English or Spanish (Amazon.es)My goodness. Tell Amazon to translate It. I'm sure they're capable of doing such a simplistic task. So I’ve managed to get a translated version of the PR and send that to Amazon. Not even 30min later they reply saying they cannot verify the details of the report and so they cannot help me in this matter. I am running out of options, it looks like I’m talking to a brick wall. So far I’ve only been emailing the regular customer service email. Is there any other email I can try to escalate this because it seems they’re just going to continue saying they can’t help me. Which details are they referring to? Tell them to explain themselves. The details they asked for were number and value of the my order, tracking number and carrier name and relevant authorities signatures or stamps which are all on the report. I have questioned them why they say they cannot verify the police report and I’m waiting on a reply. I am starting to understand why some refunding services avoid Amazon Spain. Once again thanks for all the help. Amazon has picked, packed, Invoiced your order and delivered It using their carrier service, yet they're asking "you" for the order number and the Item value, as well as the tracking number and their carrier partner. All of which, Is solely related to the way they processed the shipment, and then stored It In their Internal records. Try and make sense of that.
