The outcome Is of no surprise.

AirPods have a very high success rate with Amazon using the EB/missing Item method. That aside, well done.

I am from Germany. May I can assist you guys. Send me a PM or post your questions here. Smile

Are you still active? You have not responded since your intial post on this thread and have not answered my PM. I'd still be interest in the experiences you had with some stores especially MediaMarkt/Saturn.

Smaller stores should be avoided when SEing in general for obvious reasons.

Well I‘m refunding right now on a small shop and the processing time is very long. They said that my email did not arrive about a week I had to resend it after talking to customer support. Why should anyone avoid smaller shops?

The first reason is ethics based. For a small buissness, a 500USD loss could be quite significant. A large buissness, which makes tons of money anysways will likly not be affected much if you SE 500USD off them.
Second of all, as I just said, a loss of x amount you are SEing can be quite detrimental for a small companys success. So they won't just blindly accept that. Much more likly, they will try to not grant the refund as it hurts them alot.

Well I guess it would be really hard for the small shops if you have a high success method like empty box manufacturer failure. Ofcourse it would be better to aim giant shops like Amazon you‘re right.

Billion dollar companies have very little to nothing to lose - financially.
