RE: Car Price - Jiggly - 10-18-2021

That's really not an easy question. Prices could differ from garage to garage by thousands. Mileage, condition, model and year.

I had a look a 2015 Audi A3. The quattro alone varied by more than £10,000. Across all A3s the price ranged from £7,500 to £51,000. That was from only one seller. So yeah... Not an easy question to answer.

It's like asking, "How long Is a piece of string?" or "How deep Is a hole?".

I had a Camaro SS. Only had about 30-40K miles on it. Won't give exact numbers, but it retained 90% of its value when I sold it.

I'm not surprised.

Low mileage plays an Integral role with the resale value.

If It remains In the same condition, I'd expect the price to significantly Increase over time.

That's a fair point. I forget that some cars of today will actually be worth something more down the line. It all seems "normal" (unless you're buying a car in 6+ figures), but they're are plenty of high price classics that were "normal" cars back in the day.

I think that you should take a look on the cars for which do you have the budget

Absolutely.

My first car (limited edition) was purchased for $4,500 a very long time ago and If I kept It In Its original state, nowadays It's worth close to $70,000.
