This depends entirely on if you are looking in the used car market, or brand new. Right now in the states most used cars are selling faster and for more then brand new.

I'm not surprised. The moment you purchase a new car, It becomes a second-hand/used vehicle and Immediately drops In value.

I'd rather buy a used car with only a few thousand miles, and save thousands of dollars off the manufacturer's retail/new car pricing.

That's a hard question. To calculate a car worth, we should take into consideration it's age, quality and the brand manufacturer. The actual value is determined by the replacement cost of your vehicle minus depreciation, which considers things like age and wear and tear. Most insurance policies cover the actual cash value of your car in the event of a claim and will use a third party to determine the ACV of your vehicle. For example, I ordered a toyota corolla from 2006 in good quality with a price of 5600 euros, and this company [Link Redacted]delivered it to me. So, I really hope I answered your question.

atlas010101, it actually depends on many aspects, like miles that car rode by, damages, etc. It even depends on a specific country. In Poland - cars are pretty cheap, if we compare with the cars in Germany. If we talk about Canadian used cars' market, I do like visit [Link Redacted] at DriveAxis site, where I always get the cheapest cars I can afford to myself.

In my locality, It has a huge Impact on the vehicle's value.

High mileage usually results In engine problems and shortens Its lifespan.

It all depends on the year of production of the car and the model.

I know prices for used cars shot up dramatically here. I sold a car that I bought 10 years ago for only 10% less than what I got it for. Low mileage/great condition, but still crazy.
