Just ask. Or if you want you can say you don't want another fauly situation happening again, and just going to order pickup (blah blah blah).

This Is In fact quite effective.

There are many possibilities. One of which, Is to say that you're on a business trip for a few weeks and moving from one location to another, hence not at a fixed address to accept the delivery.
