Moreover, there Isn't evidence to conclude that the driver did In fact ring "your doorbell" and handed "you" the package. That's why a fake signature Is used- to release you from such Incidents.

But if they send the courier to your home asking you what happened (I am telling you this because It happened to me, It's not something imaginary) how can you say: "I do not remember receiving and signing a package from you."

Off-topic:
A courier has just delivered to me a package. It's impressive the amount of information are people agree to disclose.
I asked him: "Hey, good morning, how are you... It's always you that delivered the package near here you for X courier company, don't you go on holiday? How many packages you typically deliver around here?"
He told me: "In September I'll finally retired. Around 2-3 each week. near here." in front of the courier.
So now I know that I can easily do a (big) DNA before September even if he sees me signing the package. He wouldn't want to start arguing with me due to possible problems with delivery when he has to retire. Then I could take advantage of this.
