Treat It as such by giving that Impression, and It will go according to plan.

Perfect.

A 9 gram difference In weight, Is by no means questionable.
Does the "Shipping Weight" come into account or is it only the item weight that matters? Because theres a 200g difference with shipping weight

You're SEing the Item and not the entire package, so It's the "Item weight" that's of relevance.
Thought so, annoying how the item weight isn't always right but best to be safe

I know, In some Instances, the Item weight varies from one source to another. It can be frustrating to Identify which Is correct.

You've certainly done the right thing by covering all angles.

How a 6TB HDD weighs only 299gs and a 4TB weighs 449gs I don't know but could be helium inside the plates in which case I'd rather not run before I can walk

Given It's the same manufacturer, design and within the same range of model, the smaller capacity should certainly weigh less.

I'm just wondering whether those figures are In fact accurate.

If you google the model numbers they turn up different weights from other sites sadly. But this is the 6TB all the others are either 440gs or 449gs so maybe it's an error on a unusually rare high capacity drive. Sometimes the weight on other sites is close, weight is a unusual thing I wouldn't expect to be the same on all sites but the 6TB being so much lighter boggles my mind. On two sites the 4TB is listed as 680gs rofl.. but logcally they should be similar sizes so if it's 680gs on two sites it should be within the same weight even if amazon is listing it wrong

I fully agree with what you're saying.

Aside from the weights not corresponding to the capacity/nature of each HDD, there shouldn't be Inconsistencies from one source to another. It's not difficult to throw It on a scale and document the weight. I do this over 400 times at work everyday with each order I pick, pack and dispatch.

Exactly, it annoys me cause I want to go for the 6TB as that's my goal but not having the weight on the site being correct it makes me second guess it. When I look the 6TB up on another site it says it's 450gs so I imagine it really is that amazon have just messed up, but if it says it on the main site how much it weighs how much it says on the reps end is another thing.
Way I see it is don't spend the money on a wrong item SE unless your comfortable risking loosing the money

After the AirPods I did being blocked I'm not so sure, but I most likely will. My fake invoice worked on Logitech so that's something

I've just viewed your thread pertaining to AirPods being blocked. I doubt they have the capacity to do so.

That aside, If you go ahead with this SE, please quote me.
