Wrong Item Weight Difference Amazon? #1
I plan on buying a 4TB SeaGate HDD and ordering (on a different account an address) a WD Blue 500GB HDD the weight difference is about 90gs or so. Is that to much of a difference to effect it?

Generally speaking, yes.

However, some carriers round up the weight to the nearest figure, which will work In your favor. Try and get the weight as close as possible.

I'll try to find one within 10gs of it, wish amazon had a way of sorting by weight lol. Problem with HDD is the more capacity the heavier they are.

Wrong item info:
Product Dimensions 2.6 x 10.2 x 14.7 cm

Real info:
Product Dimensions 14.7 x 10.2 x 2 cm

Dimesntions arn't the best but there close enough for this I imagine? Sorry to bother you I don't have a lot of experiance with wrong item. The wrong item that arrives is only fulfilled by amazon the other is also sold by them and fulfilled.

Considering the overall weight, a 50 gram variance Isn't much at all, so I believe this will be fine.

In my experience of employment (my current job Inclusive), some shipping scales actually Increment every 50 grams and If this Is the case here, It will not detect the difference In weight.

Oh nice to know, just found a new item that is heavier and is right on the dot for the weight. Problem is its only fulfilled by amazon, is that ok?

Although It's still part of their Inventory (they just simply pack and send on behalf of the seller), the problem Is that It's stored In their fulfillment center, and not their warehouse.

If Amazon Investigated the claim and Identified this, then they'll realize that It's not possible to ship a wrong Item from another department.

I see that is tricky, the issue is I just did amazon for some Air Pods with the empty box method so while I won't be ordering the HDDs for a week or so would I be trying to push my luck to much here? Switching methods up should throw them off the scent a bit this account has a few refunds and one wrong item on it already
STILL I found a good HDD to SE weigh 449gs and the fake one I'll buy weighs 440gs.

Although the timing Is a little close, as far as you're concerned, the SE Is a legit claim.

Treat It as such by giving that Impression, and It will go according to plan.

Perfect.

A 9 gram difference In weight, Is by no means questionable.

Does the "Shipping Weight" come into account or is it only the item weight that matters? Because theres a 200g difference with shipping weight

You're SEing the Item and not the entire package, so It's the "Item weight" that's of relevance.
