Exacty that, send a corrupted (non-functional) Image using any of the sites below.
https://corrupt-a-file.net/
https://pinetools.com/corrupt-a-file
http://www.corruptmyfile.com/
Obviously they'll request the Image again, so send It In a different file format and ensure that It's working fine on your end. If need be, keep repeating the process (different file formats each time). This gives the Impression as though you're In full compliance, and doing everything possible to resolve the claim.
Oh yeah that sounds pretty logical. Thanks for the tip man. Although if what tedownyiskinm said is true than I wont be able to use this method on Logitech sadly
I'll keep it in mind for any other SE I'll do in the future though.
I managed to SE logitech fairly easily, i started my complaint through email and because they take a while to reply it gave me a reason to phone them sounding annoyed that they couldnt resolve a simple issue, all they required was a photo showing my device and case number and my POP, once i had done that they sent out my brand new megablast.

Logitech has certainly tightened their claims management strategies, but by no means Is It an Indicator that they cannot be SEd with the said (Image) and subsequent methods.
As with every SE, take It one step at a time. If they request a video (after the corrupted Image), send an Invalid URL, by altering a single character. The next course of action (If any), will be based on their response and so forth. Assume an authoritative figure, take control of the matter at hand and your SE will succeed.

Problem with most SE's I do is that I'm really "afraid" that they'll contact authorities and such because I tried to SE them. Thats why I mostly bail out if they start questioning me and ask me question that I would only know if i have the product right in front of me. Any advice on that?

Ah so it just depends on the agent you get assigned to? Do you think it wouldve worked too if you did it via live chat?

It sounds like you need to build up your confidence.
This will happen naturally with experience. Once you've successfully SEd quite a few companies, SEing will become second nature.

Alright and what's the worst that can happen if they find out I don't actually own the item?

It depends on the Item, It's value and whether they wish to pursue It.
The point of SEing, Is not to land yourself In that scenario.

They asked me for a video regarding the g933 headset, but luckily i have a g633 which looks pretty much identical, so I just filmed that. Was a success

Did it twice and it was a Success. However they wanted a part of the video to show the serial below the earpad, so I just printed a small dymo label and pasted in on top of the g633 one. Was No problem
