With the wrong Item, be sure It's a "stock" Item (part of their Inventory), and weighs roughly the same. This gives the Impression that their warehouse packed the Incorrect Item. They "do" predominantly check their packages on return, hence It's Imperative to be selective with the wrong Item.

I just thought of something, the delivery notice on Amazon just says "Left in mailroom", could I just say it was DNA since nobody actually came in contact with it? Or would they contact the driver?

If It was left In the mail room with no authorizing signature nor any form of proof of delivery, you can certainly use the DNA method.

In terms of contacting the driver, It's simply his word that's not based on any evidence of delivery.

There isn't any "proof" of delivery, the lockers are similar to Amazon Lockers but are from a 3rd party and owned by the apartment complex. I guess the only "proof" would be that i get sent an SMS with the code to open the locker, however Amazon wouldn't know that unless they contacted the driver...

As far as you're concerned, you did not receive an SMS.

If you do get one, do not open It. Depending on how their systems are setup, they may receive correspondence the moment a message Is opened.
