Why didn't you originally register with Ninjaibis on this board?

It's not taken and still available at the time of this post.

It is because Ninjaibis is a name I came up with after I've been on the forum for some time. Not only that, but people like you and Jiggly know me as SuperNinja so I didn't decide to change it after I joined as well.

i've used blazza since middle school haha, but i've kept it for all theses years just cause some of my older online buddys remember me by that, and i have some rep with it. but hey it's up to you, i'd keep it just cause you've built up your online rep with that name

I'm completely with you on this.

I've been In the cyber community for over two decades with the same username. Changing It, will form a completely new Identity which Is not appropriate under the circumstances.

Even if you completely changed your profile theme and your name I don’t think of mistake you for someone else Smile. But yeah since I’ve started on the site with this name and continue to meet other members it’ll be important in the future.

I think for some people it could be different, especially if you stay in contact with them a bunch. But if there's time away, the lines get blurred for me.

I believe I have you added on steam so would also know you as both of those names actually. But that's also what I meant by similar names, so there's still the link.

All In all, when changing your username, you need to also consider the Impact (If any) It has on others who refer and Identify you by your current username.

The last thing you need Is to change It, form a new online Identity and start all over again.
