Well I do have a question actually, the package did arrive a couple days ago, however in the tracking it does it has still never arrived, I can use that to my advantage right?

This Is good news. There's no evidence of receipt of goods.
Prior to suggesting the best course of action, I needed to establish the consignment's delivery. Wait another day or two, check the tracking status and If It's still marked as not delivered, go ahead and claim just that. Also tell them how frustrated you are, by having to wait for the package to no avail.

In my view, I believe the consignment will remain as not delivered.

Yup, it's still not delivered as of now.
I'd suggest to go ahead and claim that It wasn't delivered.
Keep a screenshot (with the timestamp) confirming you haven't received It. Given their systems Indicate It's not delivered, they cannot say otherwise.
