I didn't realize you purposely applied It. I would love to see the before-and-after.

I felt it was lacking color, and I took some inspiration from vaporwave themes.

To my eye, the color appears fine, but that's just my opinion.

I'm still partial to the first one- It's quite outstanding.

here was my take at it, keep in mind I tried to do this fairly quickly but it's representative of what I would've preferred your work to be:

I'm not sure why, but imgur compressed the shit out of the image which sucks tbh

here's the version without the added effects around the character

Now back to explaining; the font you used which is Planet Kosmos, is a very very popular and overused font

the font I used is called Arkhip which is a more subtle font and it lowkey reminds me of some japanese style text which fits well for this piece.

Finally, I added a background from google because a simple gradient made the wallpaper in my opinion boring, which I think is why you found it bland.

I actually would like the ones you made, but not via imgur. I stopped using them because they started compressing images.

That was a huge difference from your initial response xD Nice feedback. I can see what you mean about the font now. I'm a fan of very detailed images and found it hard to fairly comment on something more minimalist.
