I've tried various combinations with this idea I had for a wallpaper, and no matter what I do, something feels off about them. What do you guys think? Am I just being too critical of myself?

The colours in the background seem far too bright, try adding a texture aswell.

blurred? how big is your display? these are rendered at 1440p. And if you mean the girl, its intentional. I used a shear filter to mimic the effect of a poor quality vhs.
