Most mattress companies have free trials and free returns. Use it for 2-3 weeks and make a return, say you don’t like it. They’ll hire a third party company that recycles / donates the mattress. When they come to pick it up tell them that you decided you’re gonna keep it.

Tell the mattress company they picked it up and you’re waiting for your refund.

Thanks, i'm gonna try this out and will post an update

update: successful SN method
SN should work with almost every big name brand, they all request a picture of mattress tag, look around your local marketplaces (facebook/craigslist) and ask seller for a picture of the tag, then check the model on the tag and create a POP for that model. they will also request a picture of mattress with a tape/ruler but just send a normal picture of mattress and keep insisting for a replacement till they fold.

you could also do the donation method with some companies like tuf and needles and avacado. if you request a return you could ask to donate it instead, they will ask for proof of donation but you could go to goodwill and get a blank one for donating anything

I’m confused, did you buy the mattress in the first place?

no, I contacted people selling the mattress on craigslist and asked them to send me a picture of their tag, then made up a fake pop. for picture proof you could use any picture.

And did the mattress company come to pick up the mattress? Or you told them you had already recycled it?

Wait so what did you tell them to get them to give you a new one, and to not have to recycle the old one?
Everything I have, am, and will say is theoretical and a joke. If you think otherwise you are wrong. All posts are fictional, and all actions are intended to be in the best interest for others with no maliciouis intent

why would they want to pay for the cost of pick up and recycling, none of the companies I contacted for SN cared about what would happen to the old mattress (which doesn't exist), just sent a recycling instruction

btw I also did a SN for bed frame using the same process except you don't need a picture of tags unlike the mattress
