I think they automatically accept claims from the seller if the package is marked as delivered. 

Though, as you're aware, It doesn't conclude that you've personally received It.

Many years ago, I had a couple of legit deliveries stolen from my doorstep. It was marked "delivered", but "personally not received". Pretty sure It was my neighbor (we argued a lot), but couldn't prove anything.

I was refused an appeal initially but I managed to get someone to actually look into it.

Well, at least the claim Is still open with some hope of succeeding.
