how many times do you brush your teeth?

In theory 3 times a day after each meal

in practice I brushed it only after lunch and dinner today

Dentists always recommend brushing twice a day.

That's what I've been doing all my life, and my teeth are In great shape.

Twice a day.
Less than that will acumulate dangerous bacteria. Also acid from bacteria could originates very quickly and damage your teeth permanently.

A mouthwash Is also a good addition towards dental hygiene.

I use this everyday.

It helps prevent decay, and should be used with toothpaste of similar purpose.

i know people who dont do it at all or once or twice

Most my teeth been knocked out from fighting, but I still love to brush lol.

I brush my teeth twice a day - after breakfast and right before going to sleep, and sometimes I would use mouthwash in the middle of the day.

Add flossing to that, and It'll complete your dental regime.
