so i just called my amazon department for a empty box and he told me i had to do a police report and his system wasnt letting him get the money, did i fuck up and send it back, do the police report or try calling again?

Giving them a legit PR is probably the only way this will work for you. If its not high value I wouldn't waste a PR on it.

You can get only a refund for an item that is about ~300 euros without getting a PR. Expensive items or Apple items require PR most of the time. Suppose you can't get a PR. Just return it.

To some people thats a huge amount of money and to others thats less than a days pay. Its up to you to decide if its a substantial amount. If this is a one off and you just need a phone then it might be worth the PR but if you are doing this for the money and are planning to go bigger later then maybe not.

it's common that amazon asks for PR for high price orders, even if it's not DNA but (P)EB, especially for apple items

depends on your situation, if the account is for this refund only, or you'd like to get something more expensive later, decision entirely up to your needs and resources (new account,drop,payment method, etc)
