I remember when they appeared in certain websites that I will not mention.
But after the kids at 9gag started to use them every single time, it became a cancer, and unfunny..
Original rage comics would lbe drawn, and the meme would just be at the last tile, the name rage comics comes because of the first original comic that was the "FFFUUUUUUUUU" one. So all comics were about something unfortunate happening and then the last tile would just be that rage meme.

The reason why i'd say I like rage comics is because they make or made me laugh. Now I feel they've gotten so popular unfunny ones are being spammed out at a rage of like 125 bad ones per 1 good one and it's really destroying the quality of them overall.
