I bought a mouse off of amazon and returned a different one in the box (that's dumb ik but it was before I found this forum).

I got refunded the money but on amazon it never said they received the package (I know they received it because I did a legit return in the same box).

Today I got a charge for the exact same amount.

I contacted Amazon support and they said they don't see the transaction, and to dispute the charge.

what should I do here?

obviously amazon knows I was frauding them... is it worth to actually go and dispute?

I thought someone had hacked my account or used my money at first until I realized the purchase amount was the exact same.

I went through amazon support again and they said they mistakenly charged me for the item.. apparently I will be refunded again.

Now i've received this email, I guess I will wait if that refund comes throught, if not contact support again

They're waiting for the return of your Item, hence you won't receive the refund until they get It.

Yes I do have the tracking number, I can see proof of delivery on UPS website

edit: I contacted support again and he said there was a processing error in the warehouse, and that he 'disarmed the return label and issued a full refund'
