I've disabled the windows real time protection, and it doesn't have any additional antivirus. So no, it shouldn't be detected by anything.

I realize It works on the Host, so Is the OS In the VM "exactly" the same?

You're right, a minimal difference will not have a negative Impact.

Try a completely different OS In the VM- "version" and not edition.

Strange, It shouldn't matter that It's performed on a VM.

Are you sure the connectivity from Host to Guest Is correct?

Do you have a "Bridged" or "NAT" connection from the Host (physical machine) to the Guest (virtual machine)?
