It's a PHP RAT, hence no port forwarding Is required.

Thanks. Unfortunately that doesn't suit me as it doesn't have the functions I want, nor is it the most intuitive. The only ones left are probably async or Quasar. I wasn't able to get quasar connecting in the VM though. Still annoyed at myself for putting the orcus files in an insecure place.

When I run the virus from the VM, the control panel doesn't show any new connections. Whereas if I run it from the host, it works perfectly.

I find it difficult to screenshot that, as it's more a lack of something.

The exe file doesn't open anything, that is expected. However, normally, the control panel will show a new connection, not in this case.

What I was referring to, Is whether It's being detected, hence the connection Is terminated and not shown In Control Panel.

I've disabled the windows real time protection, and it doesn't have any additional antivirus. So no, it shouldn't be detected by anything.

I realize It works on the Host, so Is the OS In the VM "exactly" the same?
