does anyone use aircrack-ng on a windows set up and how does it compare to using it on kali? wsl2 lacks some support for things, and i dont think i wanna lose windows to learn wifi cracking. any good guides anyone suggest? i've been poking around and have found a few, but the more the better. trying to learn all i can as quick as i can

What issues are you running into with aircrack exactly?
If you understand how aircrack works and know something like Python or maybe even Go I guess, you could write your own specialised program that mimics aircrack but works on your local machine. That's what I'd recommend, but I know the plights so I won't just drop that as my only suggestion because it's ever so slightly elitist : ^)

As far as I'm aware the days of Dumpper and Jumpstart on Windows are gone. I had many good nights gaming away despite my lack of my own WiFi courtesy of those two beautiful creations lmao

monitor mode doesnt work on wsl2. so i gotta run a vm with kali running on that to make it work. was just trying to use windows so it would be faster, or i'm guessing it would i haven't tried the vm yet but i'm about to
