I placed an order with Zalando a few days ago. Value of goods 1600.- €.
One package with 9 items
The account is 6 years old and so far no refund
I want to use the DNA method.
Are there any problems with the value of the goods? or is everything okay?

In my opinion you are better off doing partial method and leaving out items that weigh less then 150 grams.

Given the number of items and the huge price tag, the DNA would likely be investigated deeper. It's not impossible, but expect a back and forth with the reps if you decide on this method.

It'll be fine but given the value of the total consignment, do expect a lengthy claims process, Inclusive of an Investigation and more than likely a PR.

Unless the rep has no brain cells left and approves the claim on the spot, due to the nature of the method, almost every DNA has Its fair share of complexities. Investigations, police reports, stat decs and affidavits will be experienced at some point.

In terms of a safe Item value, when It goes beyond the 1k mark, companies tend to pay more attention when assessing claims, thereby (and as already mentioned) an Investigation and police report Is almost a certainty. Don't be surprised If you're also asked to complete a stat dec/affidavit.
