Worst job? Probably my current as it's my first/only job I've ever had. I work at McDonald's. Pay is amazing, so many discounts on other stores I've been using and has saved me nearly $100 in total. One particular manager i dislike but the rest are so chill and relaxed

Lol where do you live? I don't work at McDonald's, but a friend of mine does. He hates it. He said there are rats and cockroaches everywhere and the working environment is depressing. But McDonald's vary, as I have another friend who enjoys it. In my area there's a really nice, modern, classy McDonald's, and a shitty ghetto one xD

Both my step dad and brother told me McDonald's was their favourite job they did.

In Australia I believe it's a lot better compared to say America. I get paid $21.20 an hour(casual worker) which is about $16USD and heard that even that would be considerably high for there. It depends per store like you said, our managers, or at least one of them, really wants to make sure the store is always clean. We're in a shopping centre too so we do actually get cockroaches, but each time we see them we kill them. Our stations and grills are generally clean when it isn't busy. The people I work with make it pretty good, unless I work on a monday/tuesday/wednesday then usually you're on your own in the back as it's too quiet to get another person.

At this stage I probably couldn't consider it a bad job, it's great experience, you can end up getting a Cert 3 while working there to get on your resume and promotions seem easy to get if you show dedication and always willing to help out extra.

WTF?! $16? :O Starting out over here is $7.50-8.50

But wages differ from state to state in America because of the cost of living. For example here in Texas, you get a really nice home with 150-250k and pay around $1000 monthly. A mortgage of $1000 a month in let's say, New York, gets you a shitty 2 bedroom apartment. That's why new york, minimum wage is around $15-16 like you.

I knew minimum wages are extremely low which sucks, I didn't know that the wages were different state to state so that makes sense for new york(I have been told it's an expensive place to live)
