Worst Experience SE'ing? Or Know Of? #1
You seem to get a lot of success stories on these forums, but what's the worst experience you've had SE'ing? I know I've had a few go south and nearly escalate beyond my control in my early days. What about you? Or have you heard of one go bottom up?

My favourite is the following:

"About an hour after Nathan dropped off his parcel and left, another post office employee noticed a puddle of water forming underneath the package. After investigating the cause of wetness, they discovered that the "iPads" were actually just blocks of ice. At that moment, it became clear that either something had gone catastrophically wrong at the Apple manufacturing plant, or that Nathan was trying to pull off a (terribly planned) scam. The two men's scheme was easily exposed by the authorities, who charged charged both of them with fraud. At the trial, even Bennett's own lawyer referred to their plan as "rather pathetic." On Monday, August 12 of 2013, both Nigel Bennett and Nathan Meunch were sentenced to 12 months of community service, 150 hours of unpaid work for the court system, and a £500 (approximately $775) fine."

Ha this made me smile Smile

The only thing I can think of is when a man put explosives on a timer inside his return so that the returns label would burn in transit and thus the return would be deemed as lost in transit. 🤦

A lengthy Investigation that lasted almost 3 months before It was approved.

The reps were stubborn and didn't want to budge, but persevering and being adamant from start to finish, ensured the successful outcome.

So what? Couldn't they have sent the wrong item to them? Maybe that package was supposed to be sent to somebody else but and they were mistaken... Where is the "fraud"? Smile

Worst I have heard is people getting rebilled. I know, not that exciting. This is why a lot of people get into SE. If you use common sense, a decent VPN (or borrowed connection) and space out your SEing, you will fly under the radar just fine.

Don't try to make a living out of it. It is good for "mama needs a new shoe" kind of slush money.

Its true that in most movies you are innocent till proven guilty, theese are the words we grow up with. But! This aint true in the real world, we heavily imprison people due to suspision alone, and also being stupid is rarely an excuse approved in the courtroom, unless you are certified retarded you Will be held Up to a certain average of knowledge, i would say before attempting Any SE its good practice to think "How can this come back and Hurt med" and "is the potential reward Worth the potential risk". As most of us is aware there is High risk SE and love risk and All Those inbetween and some items are best SE'd indirectly.
