Very interesting read! I learned a lot reading that. From now on I'm going to stop using Windows. But I don't know what else to use. What Linux distro would you recommend? I just want some privacy and still being able to use the pc for school use or personal use

Enjoyed reading it. I've already knew Microsoft is stealing information from us, but didn't know that it's this serious.
Yet it's not gonna change the fact that I'll still use Windows OS, due to many tools and games I can run here.

I've never trusted anything native to Windows.
For example, BitLocker encryption may well contain a back door (we'll never know for sure), hence I've created an encrypted volume using VeraCrypt on all my BitLocker-encrypted drives.

In our head, we all know about these. And this is mostly the information that got out or got found, it wouldn't surprise me if they collect way more.
It was an interesting read for sure. Thanks for sharing, also you might want to add the clearnet link in your thread as well (not sure everyone here knows how to use TOR)
