I prefer to purchase the Item upfront, for the reason that there's an array of traditional methods to choose from.

In answer to your question, basically any product of need for myself and friends - laptops, headphones, keyboards, computer mouse.

It's pretty simple - always expect the return, and prepare yourself In advance by having a method/approach at your disposal.

You need to understand, that there Isn't a single company that does not require the product be returned with each and every claim.

Steel series don't require a return but they do ask you you to destroy the product and show proof (easily photoshopped) unless they ask for a video, then they send you a free voucher to pick a replacement from their site for a simialir product.

The simple answer? It requires up-front cash. Most of us are cash-strapped lol.

If It were that simple, they'd be abused by SE'ers left, right, and centre. SteelSeries will request a POD, return the defective Item, or both.

Quote:Upon approval, the specialist will instruct you with one, or both, of the steps below:

Destroy on Site: You will be provided with instructions on how to physically destroy the product.  It is important that you do not recycle the product until you receive a replacement. (See below for information on recycling)

Return Process:  You may be required to ship the product in. This may include shipping in a destroyed product.
