When I log on to a forum I load the most recent posts and start responding to topics. I have no intention of waiting 20 minutes between each response merely so I don't post consecutively. Do you not see how absurd that sounds?? I've got shit to do. I visit forums and post when I feel like taking a break from whatever it is I'm doing. Spending 2 hours here so I can make 5 responses without *spamming* (according to your definition) is ridiculous and do I'll do it in the time it actually takes to submit the response I want.

Seems like a Catch-22 - Get banned for some absurd (no??) fucking reason and then get banned for multi-accounting which appears to be the only reasonable method of communicating with the staff? Make it a little easier to contact staff after a ban and maybe I wouldn't have resorted to creating a second account.

I'm not particularly pissed about the posts - but the idiocy I'm seeing regarding what people consider spam is beyond my comprehension. I've been visiting/posting/moderating/administrating forums for over 15 years and I don't think I have ever heard a dumber definition of spam.

And to suggest that it was reasonable cause for an instant permaban is just retarded. I'd really hope the ban was a mistake but I have no idea. As for PMing I think I received a permission denied page when I attempted that yesterday? something about 25 posts needed. I could be wrong but I thought I got that when I attempted to PM Equinox regarding something yesterday which is why I made that one offtopic response asking a question. Perhaps Admins are available to us new users though, I just assumed the permissions thing was across the board as I believe without a plugin that is a limitation of MyBB.

You stated that posting repeatedly without a cool down is spam. The only way to not post repeatedly without a cool down is to presumably wait a period of time. Or perhaps allow other people to post before posting further. Either way - waiting a specified amount of time or waiting for someone to show up and decide to post is just plain idiotic.

And your accusation that I have been spamming this forum is not fucking appreciated either. If you used an ounce of logic in your responses I wouldn't have resorted the necessary language of incredulity that I have used.

Well staff haven't yet made it clear why I was banned or *if* it was something to be *fixed* so I'm not entirely sure why I should be calm about it. Especially when you have people like Equinox making just outright stupid statements.

As for multi-accounting my response is the same - /if/ it was a mistake there appears to be no reasonable method of contacting staff on the ban page such as a contact email. When looking for contact options IRC was stated to be "not used" and despite attempting it anyways got no answer on the channel at which point I created a new account. But nonetheless it seems to be illogical that someone could potentially be banned by mistake and then have no real recourse to challenge it as they risk being banned for multiaccounting/ban evasion if it was a mistake?
