Which online companies fail to open sealed items? #1
I really want to SE an apple Mac mini with the SB method but would love to know which retailers leave sealed items as is

@mothered do you know if Currys or John Lewis open sealed returns?

I haven't received any reports about John Lewis.

As for Currys, they tend to check every so often, but not always.

Thank you for your reply and for the huge amount of effort you put into helping everyone.

Would you think the price of the item would increase the likelihood of them checking for Currys?

The higher the value, the greater the chance of It being checked thoroughly.

A John Lewis manager opened my in-person sealed box return but the normal cashier wouldn't have.

It was most likely done at his discretion, as opposed to store protocol.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I'm thinking of hitting Ebuyer, but unsure if DNA is better.

Do you know if Box check sealed returns?

If the carrier Is Yodel (which they mostly use), they leave packages unattended so the DNA Is good to go.

Sounds good. My only fear is that DNA for a high-value item will trigger a PR with Ebuyer, which I'm looking to avoid currently.

Hence, going the SB route. Do you know if Box.co.uk opens sealed returns? Thanks again!

Blade right hand, heat left
