It's not possible to generalize.

It depends on the company, and how they handle their claims management. To be on the safe side, change every Identifiable detail on the account

In theory, they probably have both... Every purchase and checkout is 98% of the time logged by major companies.

And 98% Is at the minimum.

Every shipping/retail company I've worked for, kept a record of every order and dispatched Item.

Do you have any idea for how long they keep the records? For example Amazon?

I know that records are archived, but I'm not entirely sure how long they're stored.

If I recall correctly one user mentioned, that his account got banned from Amz and one year later he managed to create new account with the same credentials. So it's possible the period to be 1 year. Hopefully...

Ive had companies pull Up 3-5 year old orders Up on their system, i Guess IT would also depend on the size of a case company.

I suppose using your mobile data and deleting cookies, then using a different card and writing the address differently could work out well and there's a low chance of them linking accounts?
