I use Veracrypt. Was considering using Bitlocker, but I've heard iffy things about it.

Nope I've never been into it. I understand technology and the likes but couldn't tell you the most basic thing about hacking.

I have no Idea why I believed you were (are) Into hacking, but you can always start at any time.. That said, It must be something that you "want" to learn, rather than "have" to learn just for the sake It. I couldn't go one day without compromising/exploiting, but that's just me.
