Without any doubt, it should be my back pain. It was so unbearable that my movements were very restricted due to pain. Physicians described it as spinal canal stenosis, started on pain killers and advised surgery. Luckily for me it improved with physiotherapy. I didn't want to risk having spinal surgery. So sometimes the nagging pain returns unannounced.

Did It actually hit the nerve root(s) In your case?

I believe it did because I was told to go in for surgery as soon as possible to avoid paralysis of lower limbs.

I ended up getting a catheter (big tube in penis) without any painkillers and it wasn't a very fun experience. I felt like I was being kicked in the balls every 3-5 minutes or anytime my body moved. To be honest, thinking back as I'm writing this I've come to realize the pain was the most centering thing compared to any drug I've taken, and I also realized I don't thank god enough that I recovered after taking it out.

Many years ago, I was with a friend at the time he dislocated his kneecap and was literally screaming In agony.

It was bad yeah, 3/4 of my entire leg had to be in a cast for 4 weeks and then 4-6 weeks of recovery. I still avoid certain sports that are very twisty and knee heavy because of it (like soccer or tennis)
