Corsair Liquid Cooling
Dual Boot Win 10 and Kali Linux

Took me FOREVER to build this. But I love it.

Like I said though, what are you guys running? Even if it's a laptop post your specs!

Glad you're enjoying your machine. I would love to post mine but I can't remember everything in it (Oni built it for me). I am certainly missing it as I'm away using an old Lenovo Y510P. Neat machine, but few games seem to support SLI and I need to get the screen repaired.

You have SLI on a Lenovo laptop? Or am I misunderstanding you? I agree completely that more games need to support SLI. That's exactly the reason I don't have 2 1080ti's in my computer. Also if I might ask what OS are you running on the Lenovo? I just purchased a newer Ryzen 5 Lenovo 330s and have had TONS of issues running any linux distro on it. Problems with drivers for the touchpad, wireless card etc. It has been a real pain in the ass.

Yup, two 755Ms. I'm only running windows (hey it's easy for gaming and for someone who's never used linux in her life). Apart from the screen this thing has run like a dream. Manages a lot more than I thought it would given its age, constant use and moving it around/travel. If only there was SLI support! xD

I have another lenovo for regular use and again, it was a pretty good machine. It has recently started constantly hitting 100% disk usage though...

Despite how much I like the Y510P, it is quite a depressing difference from the Titan X in my main machine (on loan from the very kind Oni).

That's pretty cool that the laptop has SLI. If more games supported it that would be a lot better for you though. As for Linux, I strongly suggest trying it out. I have my Linux system with persistence (allocated USB storage) USB and I love it because I don't have to have it installed on my HDD. Learning Linux is very satjsfying!

The regular use Lenovo you have I would suggest purchasing a small SSD ($40 USD) and transferring your OS on it. It will greatly increase the performance. Then in the future maybe grab an external HDD and transfer your data from the computer to your external HDD and that laptop would run better than it did when they made it.

TITAN X!!! I'm jealous. That must be an awesome build you have there if Oni built it for you!

I am certainly considering it one day, but haven't felt motivated to change. I was recently in college where every submission I made had to be via microsoft office documents and so on. I like using windows and don't feel that I need to make a change. If I feel differently one day, then I most likely will give linux a go.

I think I just need to replace the HDD. It was a tad miused and abused. Once I've got some money coming in, I'd like to have SSDs in all my machines (apart from the main one because 2-3TB SSD would break my bank). However, the regular use machine hasn't been touched in about 5 months, so perhaps I can safely say it's a retired back up? lol! Thank you for your suggestions though!

The main machine is mostly made up of used parts but it's the best machine I've ever had, and the Titan X is out of this world. If anything happens to it I would definitely feel like jumping off a bridge!

Ryzen processors are the best I've ever used (the AMD A8 was very nice for my DDR3 build)
I also swear by ASRock motherboards, great choice.
How old is your 1080ti? Has it stood up well? I've got a 1060 that's so far been able to play everything I throw at it with no issue at all.
