Hey everyone, today I attempted an EB on Walmart Canada for the 2nd gen airpod pros but during my chat with the rep, rather than getting an instant refund they instead started an investigation in which they'll respond in 48-72 hours.

Anything else I can do about this, or do I just play the waiting game?

It was escalated on October16 2022. I request you to wait for 24 hours for their response as they are working on it."

Today I received a phone call from a Walmart rep asking me to return the empty box to a nearby Walmart store. However, I am not home at the moment and will not be for quite a while. Instead, I pressed the rep, and he told me that they are going to investigate the case for another 24 hours.

I was also wondering is there a cause of concern regarding this SE as I have already activated the airpods on my phone.

You should've explained It to the rep.

Apologies for only clarifying now, but I actually did indeed explain to the rep that I wouldn't be present in order to bring it in, but I also did press the rep by questioning whether Walmart would even take the return back as I didn't actually receive the device. Should I continue to wait for the investigation or can something else be done at the moment?
