Vim or Emacs #1
Without starting a gigantic flame war, which do you think is better and what perks do you think either has over the other? I'm looking to write some extensions for one of them, and I'm torn between VimScript and elisp, since both look pretty fun.
It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

RE: Vim or Emacs #2
Vim, once you get to know the hotkeys and how to use it, coding in Vim is a breeze and so much faster than anything else I've ever used.

TBH I've never used EMACS before. IMO, tho, from what I've read about it, it's got like, way too much bloat and features for me.
*Queue Emacs is an OS jokes*

Though, EMACS is easier to learn than Vim

I use Visual Studio and nano, or like, notepad++. So neither.
