Forget about the laptop swap. You will lose a perfectly fine old laptop.
Strong account, no OTP... DNA this bitch ftw.

WIR you have to order the items on the same time and from the same warehouse. They have be identical in weight. As far as I heard. FTID could work on aged accounts with good order history.

How do you know size of package? Does it have to be on the same category too?

From the Amazon website, from doing your own research. Of course it can't be something completely different. I know that some people buy paper as the wrong item, don't remember for what item, it could be mac or something like that.
I don't believe in what I say. Everything is just fictional and made for a good laugh.

I don't answer PM.

Yes but to get the exact weight for something like this takes a lot of work.

Also, is the laptop switch even possible?

Not sure if you're referring to WIR.

If you mean an actual swap (order-swap-return), then no.

It used to, in outrageous ways actually, now it's beyond patched.
Especially for something as expensive & obvious as a laptop, the odds are against you.

Similar to WIR, but open package put another laptop in there. Seal it the exact way. Etc

WIR involves 2 orders on 2 different accs.

Again, if you mean order-swap-returning a single order, consider it patched.

If you're thinking about claiming that a wrong item was in the manufacturer's box... that's unusual.
Essentially a single-order-WIR-variant? You might be onto something, however potentially a hard sell.

There would be details to think through to make it believable :
- was the item sealed? no way the manufacturer would make such mistake.
- item has no seal : you could argue some SEer previously returned it like this, assuming it was never checked...
would most likely fail on Am@zon tho, as we mentioned they are meticulous with returns these days.

Do you mind giving me assistance on this?

I wondering... They're asking me where I would like for it to be delivered. Would me telling them "front porch" make me 100% liable?

Yes, DNA is no option if they ask you where to place it. You're best off returning it and trying something cheaper.
Only way to DNA it is to receive it personally without OTP.
