UPS DNA assistance #1
So, I'm thinking of doing a dna for a website that delivers with ups even though it marks as delivered at my house, is there any reason they would/ could deny the claim?
And yes the company is responsible for lost packages

Honestly depends on which company it is and how the parcel is left. For me DNA best success is when they leave it out in the open on your step or somewhere similar. It's easy to claim then that it wasn't there when you returned.

If it's delivered to your actual door with photographic proof and signature then it's harder. Obviously you can still argue your case and claim it's not your signature, not your door etc.

But you then have the issue of UPS driver turning up at your house, so if you live with other people that could be a problem. The company could just decide that there is enough proof from UPS that they did deliver it and deny your claim.

Some companies will take your word and refund you, some will issue a lengthy investigation with various outcomes and some will just deny you.

The company and item value are probably the biggest factors.

What type of verification will be required on delivery?

You can try but your bank will contact the company usually and get their side of the story before reaching a decision. If it's a credit card rather than a debit card then that usually is a lot more successful.

Personally I'd only reserve a charge back as a backup plan for very high end items only.

I'd say only a signature will be required.

Who's the company?

I fully understand and respect your privacy.

There's enough Information to discuss the SE In this thread without mentioning the company.

So i found out they deliver with DHL and in there policy it says contact them if any enquires about your order but it doesn't say whether they're reliable for lost shipments or not
