Seems like a lot of major twitter accounts have been hacked and all forwarding users to fake btc giveaway scam very interesting to check the wallet of the scam and see how much will end up in there, secondly current theory is that a Twitter API company has been hacked

I’m hearing that the person/people that did this had backend access, and perhaps were actually working for Twitter. Will be interesting to find out what exactly happened to gain access to all these accounts.

Heard it was all dumped on the darkweb even politicians in my country have been hacked I am of belief that the entire database was leaked since I have no other explanation for this many accounts.

It doesn't surprise me If this Is the case with many breaches on a large scale.

After all, employees do have the capacity (to some degree) to access personal credentials.
