Although I have all location features and settings disabled on my cell phone, It'll be Interesting to see how effectively this works.

While this is neat, it's neither new nor complete. This is a trick that utilizes a remnant of the device simulator that remains in the production build (for debugging). I remember using this with iOS years ago. Don't get me wrong, this can be used for some helpful things, like tricking the spyware (facebook) into thinking you're somewhere else, but it doesn't actually "spoof" your location, it just changes the return result for the user-level API. The device and any service or applications that DON'T use the official/user API (like one using private frameworks) will not be fooled. This means that the spyware (facebook) can simply wait for the OS or a different service to record the location and then read it from that service during its routine data collection period.
