Tutorial Success Persol Sunglasses

Hi everyone

Here we are again, another EB that perfectly worked. I ordered a pair of sunglasses on Persol and claimed EB as soon as they arrived to me. It took few days of investigation and the usual picture of the box but then the refund got approved.

The EB/missing Item method continues to serve SE'ers well.

It's safe to say, that It's only a matter of time before companies wake up to themselves and realize what's going on.

Most definitely lol. Not too long ago I hit a sunglasses company using the eb method, and the rep offered me a replacement or a refund before I was even done telling her that my box was empty! I was legit speechless lol.

I concur eb is perfect for sunglasses due to their weight.
I bet companies do know quite well what is going on, it's just still a relatively small % of their orders so they don't care that much about it. Although after a considerable amount of refunds they might introduce some limiting factors like mandatory PR or CCTV in their warehouses.

My 2 cents: Luxottica operates in Italy and, as far as I know, installing CCTV in Italian warehouses is quite a bureaucratic hassle.

On the grounds you're claiming the sunglasses were not In the case/box, CCTV will not Impact the SE - the cameras obviously cannot see what's enclosed.

The only thing that will cause significant complications, Is when goods are checked at the time of packing, just like Shade Station operates.
