Yes just say you threw it out so you don't have the picture but say you have a picture of the unit before the damage occurred and give a photo of S/N from ebay.
Apologies for slightly late reply

I forgot to add you can also ask someone to photoshop the damage for you. They will send out the unit right away if in stock if it isn't you better be patient.
All sorted, sending out a new psu today. I just photoshopped damaged to the 24 pin connector as requested and edited a Scan invoice.
Well done man, well another succes proves it wasn't a fluke will have to try again!

Fractal designs, Venom & Belkin don't bother checking at all I have had multiple succeses with each company using a fake POP. However, Razer,Logitech &steelseries do check and the item must be bought from official 3rd party reseller hence why you say it was a gift.

Received my psu today, I was expecting a retail box brand new for some reason, only received the psu, was this the same for you? Being fully modular I now need the cable to actually use it.

I mean you photoshopped the damage so mabye they assumed you had the cables. I went ahead and said I disposed of it and don't have it and gave a photo of the S/N 'before' the damage occured. They sent me a fully brand new unit in the retail box with all the cables etc. I did have to wait a week as the model was out of stock and as they restocked I'm guessing I got a new one.

Yea I thought that when it arrived, just wanted to see if you received a full retail. I’ve just messaged them now explaining I thrown away everything due to the fault and no only have a psu, see what they say.
