Results saved to {output_file_path}") except Exception as e: print(f"Error processing file: {e}") def browse_files(): Tk().withdraw() # We don't want a full GUI, so keep the root window from appearing input_file_path = filedialog.askopenfilename(title="Select an input file") # Show an "Open" dialog box and return the path to the selected file if input_file_path: output_file_path = filedialog.asksaveasfilename(title="Select an output file", defaultextension=".txt", filetypes=[("Text files", "*.txt")]) if output_file_path: process_file(input_file_path, output_file_path) # Create a simple GUI if __name__ == "__main__": browse_files()

Thanks for the code! Your script is for searching specific content in a text file. I wouldn't necessarily call a text file a database. Your share could be even more practical if you added instructions on where we find the database to read from. Nevertheless, the code is clean and fit for education. Thank you!
