Well, strings and integers are very useful while coding. They will hold data for you. Like so.

PHP Code:

<?PHP $string = "Kyle FYI"; echo $string; ?>

This will echo "Kyle FYI".
You can also hold numbers not just text. This is very useful thing to know. When I am coding, I use strings in every script I make. I don't see you coding without them really.
