Yes. Receives and sends. Security is not an issue.

What scenario are you in that someone having access to your monitors in itself isn't a problem?

Only situation I can think of this being is in a school setting with them using one of the programs my high school had.

Yeah, there's a few apps like this out there, but what I really want is one that allows my to take calls from my pc using my headset, so I don't have to pick up the phone. I hate one handed typing.
