Hello, this is GosuSang, and today,  I will be teach you guys how to SE the Pixel 2 XL (or non XL).
I would like to start this off by saying that this method is advanced, because it involves boxing and drops/reships
This method isn't new (yet still is effective) , so even if I do share this, no harm will be done.
By reading this guide, I have assumed that you have read and agreed to the TOS

5. You understand that this method will require many steps, and you may possibly fail.
6. You understand that if you follow this guide, you will SE a 800$ product.
7. You understand that even if you execute this perfectly, there is a chance the phone can be blacklisted.
8. I have the right to alter this agreement at any point.
NOTE: Do not fuck with Google if you don't know what you're doing. Google has suffered  many losses, because many Pixels were SE'ed. They are now pressing charges if you are caught.  From what I've talked about with other SE'ers on discord, this method still works.

With that, let's begin with some general tips.

1. Preferably call during night time. The foreign customer service reps do not care about the company. They're just working to survive.
2. This is from my personal examples of SE'ing, but I've had the most success when the representative was female.
3. Try to call them rather than doing the chat.
4. Always be polite while talking to them. The last person you want to aggravate is the person whom you're trying to SE.
5. Be prepared and ready to have all the materials needed
6. Call them via online phones while having IP changed. This is to secure your privacy. *More will be discussed about this later
7. Use a drop/reship with fake name of course.


Materials Needed
1. Internet connection with microphone
2. Google Pixel 2 (XL) IMEI number. You can purchase this on selly or other forums such as mpgh
3. Boxing skills.  There are other people who box as a service.

Step 1: Obtain the IMEI number. This is equivalent to the SN of a phone. Make sure you know what mode the IMEI belongs to. If you purchase a IMEI, and you don't know which model it belongs it, be prepared to make multiple calls to figure out which IMEI the phone belongs to

Step 2.
You have two options of contacting them

Step 3.
Talking to the rep
This is what the conversation should look like
"Hi, this is ______ from Google Pixel Customer service, how may I help you?"
"Hello _____  I hope you're doing well. My name is _____, and I was about to put in the sim card, but my phone does not work."
"In case we get disconnected, is there a phone number I can call to contact you"
"No sorry, this was my first phone, so I do not have a phone number. I am calling from the internet. Does email work?"
"Yes that should be fine. Can you give me the email?" (This will be the email the shipping label will be sent to)
*give email
"Can you describe the problem"?
"Yes. I received the phone as a gift for my excellent performance in school from my parents. I was about to go to the local ____ (Choose a  phone carrier)  to get my sim card. I had read very excellent review on this phone and chose this phone over the I phone X. To my great shock, the phone would not turn on."
"I am very sorry to hear that ______, at Google we strive to make our customers happy, and I hope that I will help you to the best of my abilities. Can I ask where your parents got this phone?"
"Thank you very much. My parents purchased this from a seller on craigslist/Facebook marketplace.   I am very worried because this phone means a lot to me. "
"No worries _______. "
Step 4. Basic troubleshooting
Rep will ask some basic questions such as
"Have you tried using a different USB type-c cable?"
"Have you tried using a different power bank"?

To make sure that you've isolate the problem to the phone itself say
"Yes ____, I've done that. I've tried different USB type C cables which work for my other devices"



Step 4. IMEI
To show proof that you "own" the phone, the rep will ask you for the IMEI. (THE IMEI is also on the Box)
Give the rep the IMEI and the rep will give you a shipping label to send the broken phone

Step 5. Hire someone to box or box yourself
You'll have to now box Google. Boxing is the art of sending packages in a way which makes it seem that it was tampered with. e.g. filling it with rocks, books. Taping the box with different colors of tape etc.
@mothered has mentioned that the dry ice method is also successful. The dry ice method is where you make the shipping box seem that it has been tampered with, and you send the weight of dry ice equivalent to the ideal product. Dry ice will melt eventually.

Step 6. You'll get a confirmation email from google once they have recieved the package. It will look something like this

Also. If you do use my guide, do not rely 100% on it. Not all dialogues are the same, and it is your job to adapt as the SE'er.

Boxing is the art of sending packages in a way which makes it seem that it was tampered with. e.g. filling it with rocks, books.

On receipt of the package containing rocks or books, alarms bells will be raised. It's extremely unlikely that the person responsible for stealing the Item during transit, will go to the trouble of replacing It with rocks. Stating the obvious, dry Ice does the job.
That aside, excellent guide.
