Not exaggerating at all. This was back in 2007, when community centres gave away condoms to kids 18 and under. I decided to get free birth control, and resell it. So I sent an email to the owners, pretending to be a 16 year old girl. And got 2 years supply of birth control, that’s costs around 1000$ in my country. I sold that for 500$ to some a prostitute on craiglist.

This was just a super stupid, and funny story I have.

A couple things I want to point out:
1. birth control IS dangerous, so if you do this, obviously don't handle the pills (assuming you're selling them)
2. this is probably the closest thing to SE I've seen on this forum in 4 years, so props to OP

Edit: some more input, this goes back on the skill of trying to buy cigarettes before you're 18 (or 21 in California). You have to use SE to get the clerk to misinterpret your age, the concept is the same going in either direction.

This was definitely a grey area, so I don’t recommend people doing this. In Canada, it is illegal to resell Birth control. So it was very sketchy.

That is true, but it was the birth control that was the main SE. We were also over the age limit.

Thanks tho,

CC

This is the first time I've come across someone SEing something like this, and I have to say I'm pretty surprised. And full of questions.
What kind of birth control was this?! One normally has to go through insurance (if US) and a bunch of tests to be given such things. Unless it wasn't the hormone kind of birth control (I'm suspecting it is, based on the price tag). That shit is seriously dangerous for women, young girls especially. So how come they gave you 2 years worth!?

But damn, what an interesting story! May I ask what country/approximate region of the world this was? Considering healthcare varies vastly in this area across continents xD

I'm also assuming legal age is 18 if they're targeting under that age? Which is interesting.

In Canada, the age for consent is 14 (meaning legally you can have sex with someone 5years older. Many high schools were noticing a lot teen pregnancy, and because of that, they started to implement free condoms, birth control, sti testing and in extreme cases, abortions. And you are correct, it had to deal with hormones. My girlfriend was the one who went into testing (I emailed them a old prescription of hers) I’m sharing a little more information that I should be, but whatever. I still have a box of 1000s of expired condoms waiting to be thrown out.

Thanks for reading,
CC

For every SE, there must also be an element of truth that's manipulated Into the fabricated scenario.

Thank you for explaining all that! Bless you! You didn't need to go into so much detail if you didn't want to :') "I emailed using someone else's prescription" could suffice xD But yes, not cheap!

The day you throw those out, you better hope the bin men/garbage guys don't accidentally see them! lmfao

Everything aside though, that story is amazing.
