Reasons why to use a dark theme

The bright white color hurts my eyes after hours of working on my assignments. Not to mention that displaying the color white causes your monitor to use more energy than displaying darker colors. It would be more environmentally friendly to be able to use the other themes, like the dark theme by default. Also I like dark theme better.

I have to agree that the white theme Is quite strenuous on the eyes.
