How do refunders speak to Amazon in your name if they do not have access to your account? Take Amazon.it for example. I tried e-mailing them from a different e-mail than the one on my account and they told me I should use the account address. Is it the same for calling? Do I have to call from the phone number attached to the account?

Good question, wondering the same. If you call them is there any possibility from the to determine that you actually bought the item? If your answer is Account ID / Track ID / Package ID / ..... Is there a way to get around this?

I have not had time to read through all these pages (have gotten about half way through) but I have to say this is amazing information. Copscalled I was wondering if you knew about Nordstroms. Can they see past messages and refunds? I just successfully got 2 pairs of designer shoes (free + refund) and was going to maybe try them again for some other clothes. The whole process was very smooth and it seemed like they did not even put a citation or anything on my account (never opened an investigation for missing packaged they just immediately mailed me a new pair) like I know Amazon can do. Sorry if this is an oddly specific question

I wanted to SE some airpods from amazon (or any other site) and wanted to know if I would need to them first? as for amazon, I'm assuming they'd look through your orders or ask for a receipt thingy (and other places such as best buy, target, etc would ask for an order number/confirmation). I'm pretty new to SEing so excuse my lack of knowledge here. If it is possible to do it without having ordered it, what is the method? (I'm not that up to date yet on methods so if you could explain it or just like put it in a pastebin to make it easier that would help a lot) I'm assuming it'd be item missing or something of that sort considering it's very light. thanks in advance for helping mate :)

I've order a nice Paul Smith wallet for £150 - thinking of saying the box was empty upon delivery as this will weigh very little it shouldn't register on the scales?
