It sounds like they might do a courtesy refund if you provide them with a PR.

UPDATE: Just filed a police report but the station only gave me the case #, and his name and badge number... just waiting on the police report pdf that I requested so hopefully I get something on Monday during business hours.How long does it take to get the actual pdf?
Also I chatted an Amazon rep and they said they cant do anything without the actual PDF BUT he said he guarantees and in his own words that "once I get the pdf and send it to him he can help out with a replacement or refund as much as possible" but I am not getting my hopes up just yet because some I can get some some other amazon rep that will say a completly different thing when I get the PR so wish me luck and hopefully everything goes well.

My friend did it and first they said: we cannot verify this PR. Then later on he send another PDF, then they said, we have to verify this and after a couple days he received his refund
But some people on here claim, it took them a while to get their money back

UPDATE!:
Filed the PR and sent them the pdf through email and report # and they gave the refund!! Alot of back and forth though because some Amazon reps were delusional. Overall it was SUCESS SE W!!
Took about 6 days since I've received the package so it was actually fast af.

Honestly I still can't believe it. I managed to fkn EB a heavy ass 2k gpu 💀
